For founders & partners
How we work with companies, what we look for in a round, and what to expect after we partner. For LP or co-investor questions, reach out via Contact.
1. What stage and check sizes does Prospera target?
We focus on seed through Series A, typically deploying initial checks in the ranges shown under Fund, with meaningful reserves for follow-on in breakout companies. Exact sizing depends on round dynamics, ownership targets, and syndicate.
2. Do you lead rounds and take board seats?
We often lead or co-lead at Series A and can anchor seed rounds when we have high conviction. Board participation is case-by-case—we take a seat when we believe our time and network materially help the company, not as a default requirement.
3. How should founders send a deck or intro?
Email us with a short blurb, deck link, and fundraising timeline. Warm intros from founders we have backed or trusted partners are prioritized, but we review cold inbound that fits our thesis and stage.
4. What does diligence look like at Prospera?
We run a structured process: market mapping, product and technical depth, customer references, and cap table clarity. We aim for transparent timelines and direct feedback—whether we invest or pass—so you can plan your round.
5. Do you work with limited partners and co-investors?
Yes. We partner with institutional LPs and a curated set of strategics and angels on select deals. If you are an allocator or syndicate lead, use Contact with your mandate and we will route you appropriately.
